The Counseling Relationship

I support and encourage clients as they set goals and use their unique strengths to achieve them. Together we identify specific steps clients can take to over time become the best version of themselves possible.

I believe we all get to author our lives in unique ways and it is my privilege to walk beside you as you realize new and more fulfilling ways to experience life and engage with those around you.

I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) – a treatment modality that helps children and adolescents who have experienced trauma heal and grow. The adult trauma survivors I serve also benefit from components of TF-CBT that can be adapted to help them work through their trauma and tell their stories in order to find wholeness and healing.

I am also a Certified Grief Counselor through Evergreen Certification. I am honored to support individuals facing loss of all kinds including sickness, death, separation and divorce.

In addition to trauma and grief work, I am experienced in working with children of divorce and high conflict divorce and providing both reunification therapy and traditional family therapy. My other therapeutic passions include supporting clients dealing with chronic health issues and working with children who are adopted, have spent time in the foster care system or are struggling with behavioral and relationship issues.

It has been a privilege to build relationships with my clients, listen to their stories and help them heal. I hope to do the same for you.
